Software Quality Assurance- Test Analyst (Fresh Graduates Welcome)

Job Responsibilities:

• Actively involves and contributes in Product iteration planning, software design discussions and reviews activities with Scrum Team, Product Owner and Scrum Master.
• Work closely with Product Owner and Scrum team to translate business requirements into Test Scenario.
• Develop, maintain and execute detailed, well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Perform testing activities such as test execution, capturing and analyzing test results.
• Monitor success criteria, defects, fixes, retests and resolution, tracking and reporting.
• Updating and maintaining all test artifacts.
• Monitor and report the testing progress.
• Work closely with application team to have defects/issues addressed and resolved.
• Validate and analyze the test results to identify risks and issues with objective to deliver highest quality software.
• Participate in team meetings.
• Able to develop the automation test scripts and perform regression testing.
• Proactively provide recommendation on solutions to improve the product usability and quality.
• Work closely with Quality Assurance team for continuous improvement of testing methodology.
• Provide recommendation on test process improvements resulting from lessons learned.

Job Requirements:-

• Candidate with Bachelor in Computer Science/ Information Technology, Computer or equivalent.
• Entry-level: Candidate with 1 year of Software application testing experience, fresh graduates with relevant studies are welcomed to apply.
• Intermediate level: Candidate with at least 3-4 years of Software application testing experience which in financial/banking is added advantage.
• Experience in managing and conducting end to end testing for major projects.
• Experience in SIT, UAT and Regression testing both in an Agile and Waterfall delivery environment.
• Extensive hands-on experience in planning, testing and defect tracking skills including using a variety of tools such as JIRA, Confluence.
• Strong knowledge of Quality Assurance methodologies.
• Good knowledge on automation framework or programming languages will be added advantage.
• Strong analytical skills and good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team with self-initiative and positive attitude.
• Proficiency in spoken and written Cantonese or Mandarin in order to support for Headquater office in Hong Kong
