Mobile Application Engineer

Job Purpose

Responsible to design or re-design, develop, test and implement complex Mobile software programs and applications and provide technical support and expertise to customers, testing applications, responding to customer feedback, installations and maintenance.

• You will be involved in the whole project life cycle which includes requirement analysis, system design, software development, system testing, project deployment, debugging, project documentation and maintenance.

• For Engineering leads, you will be responsible for team members in your sub-team and you will manage their work tasks as well as welfare, within the framework of the company.

Qualifications,  Key Skills & Behaviours

• Degree in IT or any related discipline

• Experience At least 2 years experience in Android / IOS

• 2+ years of professional experience working with React Native.

• Proficiency and familiarity with the following programming languages: Objective C, Swift, Java, JS, Kotlin, JSON, SQLite and React.

• Work as part of a team to build React Native iOS / Android applications for clients.

• Architect, build and maintain excellent React Native applications with clean code.

• Possessing knowledge of software and coding skills specific to the job required.

• Knowledge and experience in designing, developing, deploying, and CI/CD in a DevOps environment.

• Forensic attention to detail.

• Demonstrating project management abilities adhere to agreed-upon delivery schedules.

• Developing strong quantitative skills.

• Driven, hungry for knowledge, responsible, mature and independent.

• Perform full life-cycle development.

• Ability to effectively communicate via written and spoken English and Malay.

Added Advantages

• Experience in building apps.

• Good understanding of mobile device limitations (e.g. System, UI etc.) and be able to design software that fits within those constraints.

• Well versed in object-oriented programming and design methodology.

• Game developed via Unity.

• Familiarity with Unit Test and Integration Test for mobile application.

• Portfolio of apps developed (for engineering leads).

• Experience in managing teams (for engineering leads).
